7th Annual Disability Day at Kentucky Speedway

Disability Days at Kentucky Speedway with the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation

It’s that time again and YOU AND YOUR GROUP ARE INVITED!!   The Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation ( www.samschmidt.org (http://www NULL.samschmidt NULL.org/)) holds a day at the track event at speedways around the country.  And once again, The Kentucky Speedway has graciously agreed to help sponsor our Day at the Races event this year!

Please see the attached flyer for more info on the Annual Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation’s Day at the Races Kentucky Speedway event scheduled on Friday, August 8th. The whole day is amazingly fun-filled! AND IT’S ALL FREE!

Basically SSPF invites patients in VA Hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals and Shriners Hospitals along with organizations whose members are paralyzed to enjoy a very special day at the speedway.  We provide everyone with resource materials and gifts, infield parking is provided as well as special passes enabling the participants to tour the garage and pit areas and meet with IRL drivers, an opportunity available to few individuals.  Additionally, free lunch is provided in the hospitality tent of Andretti Green Racing and the event’s title sponsor, United Medical Providers, Inc., hands out free t-shirts, hats, bags, and other fun IndyCar series goodies.

The 7th Annual Disability Day at Kentucky Speedway sponsored by Friends For Michael and Sam Schmidt  Paralysis Foundation.  This event is for SCI Survivors and  family to go behind the scenes of Indy Racing. Contact Cindy Norton if you are interested in attending this event!
